Wow, I never thought I'd post on here again, but HERE I AM! It's a Friday night and I have some spare time while waiting for Christian to get off work. I'm excited that it's autumn again. But lately, I've been trying to get my life in order. After graduating, I realized everything doesn't just "fall into place." And you can have all the potential in the world, but it doesn't matter unless you know what to do with it.

Everything for me lately has consisted of realizations. I realized that I need to do some soul-searching to find out what I'm really passionate about. My original plan was to always finish nursing school, but now... I find myself at a crossroads with where I want to go in life. And I've always had a harder time making a decision and running with it. I always tend to second guess myself, and it's screwed me over. Needless to say, I'm working on it.

Given my ENFP personality type and my hobbies, there are certain jobs I might be happier with. I know I shouldn't be going after the money, but how can you say money doesn't matter? Would you rather be struggling to get by, or live comfortably?

I'v already considered teaching abroad in China, pursuing my MPH, and traveling the world.

Balboa Park

I am really enjoying the year thus far. Not staying in one place too long has been keeping me more bubbly than usual, so I hope I keep this up. I was really looking forward to visiting the Rose Garden, but when Johnny and I got there, there were no roses! I was pretty bummed at first, but after seeing the other sites I got over it shortly. I've forgotten that San Diego is quite beautiful.

I really liked how this photo turned out. I took pictures with a mix of my CanonSX510HS and my iPhone 6S. I thought the Canon took better pictures in the daylight, and my iPhone took better ones at night.

Earth and Snow

Yesterday, I made a quick trip to Mount Laguna with my mom. The weather was interesting because it was raining on and off, but I was relieved to find a decent amount of snow upon arrival. Parking and traffic was awful, so it took a while before we could start venturing out. I haven't seen the snow in a year, and I felt at peace in this environment. I definitely needed the change of scenery. The suburbs can drive me crazy sometimes!

Later that day, and after a much-need outfit change. I watched The Revenant with Johnny. Despite being a huge Leo fan, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. The gore and the slow buildup sort of put me to sleep, or maybe I was just tired before watching it.

Tomorrow, I have to attend a study broad meeting for my China trip and then I'll be having fun enjoying free museums in Balboa! My inner wanderlust is dying to come out.

Product Review: Too Faced Hangover Primer

I am in love with this new primer I tried today called Too Faced Hangover Primer. I took a sample on a whim from Sephora and now I wish I bought the whole bottle! At first I was skeptical because the primer has the consistency of a moisturizer, so I wasn't sure how that would hold up on my skin since I'm used to using silicone-based primers. After 3 hours, I have not experienced any creasing, and my skin looks so radiant.

It was my mom's birthday today, so family and I went to Barona Casino for lunch. Tomorrow, she and I might go to Mount Laguna to see some snow!

I also tried a new lash style today. I am wearing Red Cherry #523, but I trimmed the spaces in between to make it look more spaced out. To be honest, I'm not too sure how I feel about this lash style on me. I prefer more length to make my eyes appear larger. I might have to make a run to Ulta to purchase Eylure again.

El Nino

The weather was so crazy today. I can't believe it's going to be like this all week. I was terrified driving so far in the weather on account that my car skids easily. Luckily, I made it home safe.

I made a much needed stop to Sephora and made the most out of getting free samples. I am definitely on a budget and can't afford to spend money so easily these days. My favorite sample was Shiseido's White Lucent Serum which retails at $125, so you can guess how excited I was when the sales associate gave me a generous amount. I might use it tonight in conjunction with the Shiseido White Lucent masks I received on Christmas to maximize it's brightening effect.

Later on, I worked out again with Johnny and then we watched Spectre after. In my opinion, Skyfall was much better.

To be honest, I wasn't really feeling my makeup today. I ended up using whatever I had in my drawer since I ran out of everything (hence the Sephora trip). Since I ran out of my holy grail Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder, I had to use Ben Nye in Banana, which surprisingly accentuated my dark circles.

Happy New Year!

I can't believe how fast the year went by. It definitely had its ups and downs, but I am feeling most optimistic about 2016!

I spent the 29th hanging out with Johnny. We saw Hateful 8 and went bar hopping in Gaslamp District. The best part was we didn't pay any cover and we visited 4 bars. Fast forward to NYE, I drove up to Chino and spent it with the Yoon's. I must've been really tired because I knocked out and missed the countdown!

My New Year's resolution for 2015 was to go without boba for a year, and I did it! Now I'm figuring out which day I should visit a tea shop and have it again. Not sure if I'll go back to drinking it regularly, though.
