12月13日:
Long time no blog! Just thought I should stop by and show some love on here.

Me yesterday holiday shopping at Fashion Valley. My dress choice was soft goth-lolita inspired.
School gets pretty stressful towards the end of the semester because of all the deadlines and finals.  Fortunately, I got through it all! I just have one more thing to take care of, which is tomorrow. I have a Japanese skit I have to present to the class, and I'm confident I will do well. I've been home all day practicing and I really can't wait to get it over. My journey on learning Japanese has been a great experience. I look forward to learning more, and studying abroad in Japan before I graduate.

With Winter vacation coming up, I'm looking forward to being around good company and relaxing for a whole month!

And now onto a new product I've been loving.

I finally caved and decided to try out Mac Prep and Prime Fix+. I bought the $10 version which is about half the size compare to the picture above. I bought it on a total whim, but I'm so glad I did. This makes my makeup look more like my skin, and I much prefer this to the spray I was previously using (NYX Dewy Setting Spray). Upon researching, I learned how versatile this product was (yo u can even detangle wet hair with it!). After my moisturizer has set in, I spritz my face with Mac Fix+, let it absorb into my skin, then wear primer. I use Mac Fix+ again all over my face after I've finished my makeup. You can be generous with this product, but I found that if you use way too much, your makeup will not hold up together. I tried the method where you spray your sponge and in between layers, and... just no. My makeup was pretty much sliding off my face!

I know that Mac Fix+ isn't made to be a setting spray, it's a finishing spray. Finishing sprays don't necessarily help your makeup last longer, but it makes everything melt together and takes away the powdery look. My makeup still looked the same after 8+ hours of wear, and my skin is normal/dry/sensitive. As far as oil control goes, I wasn't any more oily than I normally get without this product. After using an oil blotting sheet after a couple hours, I saw minimal oil. All in all, this stuff is a definite must buy.

I am so excited for my Ash Brown Remy Hair Wavy Extensions 24" from hairextensionbuy.com to come in! The longest extensions I've ever worn was 22", so the extra length will be amazing to try out!

On another note, I've been debating on getting back into detox teas. The current one I'm eye is Fit Tea. I've used Bae Tea in the past, which worked decently, but I'm always open to trying new things.
