Contouring Products Recommended

Hey guys! Always wanted to give contouring a shot to slim down your nose/face, or highlight your natural beauty, but don't know which products to get? Look no further! Today I wanted to shed light on some cream-based contouring products. You might be familiar with the powder formulas, but I highly recommend cream-based products. They are easier to blend and look more natural.

Mac Sculpting Cream
1) accentuate - to highlight features you want to accentuate, 2) copper beech - warmer hue to contour features you want to hide, 3) coffee walnut - cooler hue to contour features you want to hide

MAC Sculpting creams are unique because they start off as a cream and finish as a powder. The product starts out as sheer but you can build opacity.

Coastal Scents Contour Palette
First Row (left to right): white highlighter, peach highlighter, cool toned blush.

Second row (left to right): vanilla highlighter, warm hue contour, warm toned blush.

2013 favorites (so far!)

Hey everyone!

The new year's been good to me so far, not only with my personal life, but also with my skin and makeup products/techniques!

Face Products:

L'Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Compact Makeup, SPF 17, Porcelain: This is probably one of the foundations with better color pay-off. I chose to use W1 in Porcelain for my NW20-25 skin, and it made it look porcelain! I liked that it came in a compact for traveling convenience, and the given sponge isn't bad either.

This is one of the best setting powders I ever used! It glides onto my skin like a dream, and I love the natural looking pigment it gives! There is a bit of shimmer, which I assume to be light deflecters, making your skin look flawless!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush ExposedThis is one of the best blushes I have ever owned (next to NYX "Mocha"). This shade is perfect for daily use, and it lasts a good amount of the day! This shade is a muted pink which is universally flattering on all skintones!

Eyes:

L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara, Carbon BlackThis mascara has become a staple in my daily makeup regimen. It makes my lashes crazy thick and long, and I've been asked by random people if they're my real lashes! WOW, no one's ever said that to me until this mascara. In addition, this mascara is black black black! For $5, you can't go wrong!

Ardell Brow & Lash Growth Accelerator Treatment GelMy lashes have been kissed by an angel with this product! For reference, I have short, thin, Asian lashes, and this has made them so thick! Applying this every night can seem annoying and frustrating, but the results are worth it. I need to stock up on these if they ever become discontinued!

Hard Candy Eye'm Tired - Depuffing Eye SerumI recently raved about this, but this is a life-saver for those nights you didn't get the beauty sleep you needed! You simply roll this under those puffy eyes, and voila! I've tried Garnier's Eye Roller and that was a flop, but this works! Hard Candy still sells great products (even though they aren't sold at Sephora anymore heheh)

Himalaya Undereye CreamBye bye dark circles! I love this eye cream! I've tried many in my day and my heart goes out to Himalaya for making such a great product! From the consistency to price and results, nothing beats this! This product claims that 80% of users saw a decrease in dark circles! I can attest to this statistic. My dark circles aren't cute the nights I don't get much sleep, but this helps so much!

Miscellaneous:

Nivea Hand Hand Cream, Smooth IndulgenceI wash my hands a lot, and the soap can make them dry sometimes, but this makes them nice and soft again! You don't get the greasy feeling that most hand creams leave either!

I purchase all my items from Rite Aid or Target because of their frequent deals, but stores such as Amazon and eBay sell them as well!

Also, my fiancé joined blogspot as well! Check out his blog about gaming and great book recommendations!

Thanks for reading! Any feedback is much appreciated ♡

Updated Concealer post

I am currently using CoverBlend Multi-Function Concealer SPF 15 Light in Light. I purchased this at ULTA for $21, and the funny part is my fiancé introduced this to me when I first saw him use it! However, he uses it for spot touch ups while I use it to brighten up my eye area.

I love the texture of this— its lightweight with a semi-runny consistency, and it matches my light skin tone perfectly.

Anyway, just look at the pictures below and see for yourself how great the coverage is with this product!
