Hello hello! I read that lengthening lashes widens eyes rather than volumizing, so I invested in a new lengthening mascara, Wet n' Wild Megalength Waterproof. It was rated a 3.6 on Makeupalley so that means it's a solid product! I also finally grabbed Covergirl's Lash Blash Volumizing in Waterproof to boost my lashes. This product has received praise everywhere, and I wanted to see how it holds up to my current volumizing mascara, Maybelline Colossal Volume.
"Dare to whisper?" I caved and picked up Pin Up Peach, one of the most attractive colors from Maybelline'a Color Whisper. I tried it on earlier, and it is the most gorgeous coral/peach, giving my lips the healthiest flush. The product really is lightweight, however you can still detect that lipstick scent. Definitely nothing I can't overlook.
I've also been curious about eyeshadow to make my eyes more deep set, and giving my face more dimension. I chose ELF Perfect Eyeshadow in Browns. I love that it had labels on where to place each color. It's very helpful for eyeshadow newbs such as myself.
Lastly, I decided to start using Sonia Kashuk Concealer Palette. This used to be my favorite until I started using Hard Candy Glamoflauge and then Coverblend, but lately Coverblend's coverage and wearability have been disappointing, so I'm switching things up!
After Abrann clocked off, we went to Mandarin Chinese Restaurant for their $5 lunch specials. I ordered sweet and sour pork, while he ordered salt pepper porkchops! After that we bought some groceries at Vons. They were mostly beverages, but I'm happy to note that we bought Chocolate Chip Eggos, yummy chocolates, and Haagen Dasz! When we got to his house, we just hung out in his room, and eventually fell asleep for a bit!
